Four Principles

The Scriptures

The Bible is the Word of God. It is infallible, inerrant, inspired, and complete. Written by men who were moved by the Holy Spirit, it is the only sufficient rule of faith and practice.

The True God

There is but one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Fall of Man

All men need to be saved. Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Man cannot save himself. Titus 3:5

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Salvation

Salvation is through Christ. 1 Timothy 1:15

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

God invites men to be saved. Isaiah 1:18

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

This salvation is by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Ephesians 2:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

All who call on the Lord for salvation will be saved. Romans 10:13

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
